TeenStreet parle de discipulat. C'est pourquoi la gravit\u00e9 de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement r\u00e9side dans les petits groupes (NET). C'est l\u00e0 que les adolescents d\u00e9couvrent comment vivre avec J\u00e9sus a un impact sur leur vie et sur la vie des gens qui les entourent. Elle les invite \u00e0 participer r\u00e9ellement \u00e0 la mission que J\u00e9sus a pour tous.<\/p>

Structure du discipulat<\/h3>

Nous voulons que tout le monde soit disciple et disciple des autres en retour. Pour soutenir cela, nous utilisons une structure o\u00f9 les adolescents de 13 \u00e0 17 ans sont en petits groupes de m\u00eame sexe avec un entra\u00eeneur. Cet entra\u00eeneur a g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 20 ans et plus. Pour pouvoir \u00e9galement soutenir, guider et former correctement les entra\u00eeneurs, tous les six \u00e0 huit entra\u00eeneurs sont form\u00e9s par un couple de mentors.<\/p>

Pas pour les sp\u00e9ciaux<\/h3>

Parfois, \u00eatre un disciple de J\u00e9sus a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9par\u00e9 de faire des disciples de J\u00e9sus. Nous croyons que ce n'est pas possible. Sans \u00eatre sel et lumi\u00e8re, on vous appelle plut\u00f4t fan de J\u00e9sus. Nous voulons d\u00e9fier la jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la mission de J\u00e9sus.<\/p>

De l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement au mouvement<\/h3>

Nous utilisons un \u00e9v\u00e9nement comme un acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur, mais nous voulons \u00eatre un mouvement. L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement est un lieu important o\u00f9 l'ADN est transf\u00e9r\u00e9; c'est une cocotte-minute pour remettre en question la culture existante. Avoir les adolescents une semaine par an, pendant quelques ann\u00e9es cons\u00e9cutives, est une excellente occasion de parler de leur vie. Nous encourageons les ados \u00e0 poursuivre leur cheminement \u00e0 la maison et nous mettons de plus en plus d'\u00e9nergie \u00e0 alimenter le mouvement tout au long de l'ann\u00e9e.<\/p>

Core Values At TeenStreet we believe that teens are to be taken seriously. Their dreams and their struggles; they are the leaders of tomorrow we need to invest in. That is why TeenStreet exists. Impact We want to make a lasting impact in the lives of teenagers. This means helping teens to understand and come to their own decisions rather than telling them what they must do. Small groups and personal study are a vital part of helping teens to apply the teaching to their own lives. Relationships We want teens to have a real relationship with God and healthy relationships with other people. We aim to love God and love each other at TeenStreet. We will provide opportunities for teens to develop their friendship with Jesus, their relationship with other teens and their relationships with trusted adults. Empowerment We want to raise up a generation of people who trust God to use them now, not only in some remote future. We want teenagers to be able to serve God in many different ways, using their own gifting and passions. This is about doing things together for God and a hurting world! Discipleship \u201cTeenStreet is more than just a camp experience, it is raising a generation of young people who know Jesus and are equipped to share His love with the world.\u201d TeenStreet is about discipleship. That is why the gravity of the event lies in the small groups (NETs). It is there that teens discover how living with Jesus impacts their live and the lives of the people around them. It invites them to really take part in the mission that Jesus has for everyone. Discipleship structure We want everyone to be discipled, and to disciple others in return. To sustain this we use a structure where teens from 13-17 are in same sex small groups with a coach. This coach is usually 20+. To be able to also properly support, guide and train the coaches, every six to eight coaches are discipled by a mentor couple. Not for the special ones Sometimes being a Jesus follower has been separated from making Jesus followers. We believe that is not possible. Without being salt and light, you rather be called a Jesus fan. We want to challenge the younger generation to take part in Jesus\u2019 mission. From event to movement We use an event as an accelerator, but we want to be a movement. The event is an important place where DNA gets transferred; it is a pressure cooker for challenging the existing culture. Having the teens for one week a year, for some consecutive years, is a great opportunity to speak into their lives. We encourage teens to continue their journey at home and we are putting more and more energy in fuelling the movement throughout the year. Elements of Discipleship We identified the terms inspire, equip and connect as the primary drivers for discipleship. Inspire We are the examples they want to follow, and tell real stories that stir a longing in their hearts. They need to see what following Jesus really means. Equip Teens are to be taken seriously, they are the now taking over the world and the church. We spend time to build them up so they reach their potential. Connect We are called to reach the world, starting with our peers. We have a global worldview, let our hearts burn for the lost and reach out to people close and far.
