Tag 4: Zufriedenheit<\/p>

Es k\u00f6nnte laut werden\" - mit diesem Lied wurden die Jugendlichen heute in der Haupthalle begr\u00fc\u00dft. Und laut wurde es, als das beste Kost\u00fcm des Lumpenrennens - die Aliens - gek\u00fcrt wurde und als die Spendensumme bekannt gegeben wurde: 48.166 Euro.<\/p>\n

Das heutige Thema handelte davon, auch in Zeiten des Leidens zufrieden zu sein. Paulus, der ehemalige Christenverfolger Saulus, ging nach seiner Bekehrung zu den Menschen, die Jesus noch nicht kannten, und litt viel. Unter anderem \u00fcberlebte er seine eigene Steinigung. Anhand von R\u00f6mer 8,18 haben wir erkannt, dass wir in Zeiten des Leidens oft wie mit einem Mikroskop auf das Problem zoomen, aber Paulus fordert uns auf, herauszuzoomen und uns auf Gott zu konzentrieren.<\/p>\n

Auf dem TeenStreet-Gel\u00e4nde war am Nachmittag wegen der Hitze nicht viel los, viele zogen es vor, im Haus zu bleiben oder im nahe gelegenen See zu schwimmen.<\/p>\n

 Am Abend stand ein etwas anderer Thronsaal auf dem Programm: der Gebetsabend. Die Band spielte akustisch und Josh Green, Jugendleiter von 24-7 Prayer, f\u00fchrte durch den Abend. Er betonte, dass Jesus die Kirche als Gebetstreffen gegr\u00fcndet hat und dass es nun an der Zeit ist, dass die Kirche zu ihren Urspr\u00fcngen zur\u00fcckkehrt und ein Haus des Gebets wird. \"Das Gebet muss hartn\u00e4ckig, best\u00e4ndig und widerstandsf\u00e4hig sein\", forderte er uns auf.<\/p>\n

Dann gingen die Teenager in ihren Kleingruppen zu verschiedenen Gebetsstationen, um f\u00fcr die Unerreichten und f\u00fcreinander zu beten. Am Ende betraten Jugendliche aus \u00fcber 30 Nationen die B\u00fchne, um in ihren eigenen Sprachen f\u00fcr ihr Land zu beten. Ein \"heiliges Chaos\" und doch ein so sch\u00f6nes Zeichen f\u00fcr den Leib Christi. And it got loud when the best costume from the rag race – the Aliens – was chosen and when the donation total was announced: 48,166 euros. Today’s theme was about being content even at times of suffering. After his conversion, Paul, the former persecutor of Christians Saul, went to the people who did not yet know Jesus and suffered a lot. Among other things, he survived his own stoning. Based on Romans 8:18, we recognised that in times of suffering we often zoom in on the problem as if with a microscope, but Paul asks us to zoom out and focus on God. There wasn’t much going on at the TeenStreet site in the afternoon due to the heat, many preferred to stay indoors or to swim in the nearby lake.  In the evening, a slightly different Throne Room was on the programme: the prayer evening. The band played acoustically and Josh Green, Youth Director for 24-7 Prayer, led through the evening. He emphasised that Jesus started the church as a prayer meeting and that it is now time for the church to return to its origins and become a house of prayer. “Prayer has to be persistent, consistent and resistant,” he challenged us. Then the teens went in their small groups to different prayer stations to pray for the unreached and for each other. At the end, teenagers from over 30 nations went on the stage to pray for their country in their own languages. A “holy chaos” and yet such a beautiful sign of the body of Christ.
