Dag 5: Form\u00e5l\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0Hvad ville TeenStreet v\u00e6re uden serviceteamet? 652 mennesker arbejder bag kulisserne i \u00e5r og g\u00f8r TeenStreet muligt - i k\u00f8kkenet, p\u00e5 toiletterne, som vagter, ved en sjov madbod osv. I morges takkede vi dem h\u00f8jt! Serviceteam, vi elsker jer!\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0Ligesom den olympiske flamme er det ogs\u00e5 vigtigt for os som kristne at give faklen videre og bringe Jesu lys ud i verden. For der er stadig godt 3 milliarder mennesker, som har ringe eller ingen mulighed for at h\u00f8re om Jesus. \u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0Vi ved fra Paulus, at han ikke hvilede selv i slutningen af sin tjeneste, men fortsatte med at forkynde evangeliet, indtil den n\u00e6ste generation tog faklen op. Lige f\u00f8r Jesus tog tilbage til sin himmelske far, sagde han til sine disciple, at de skulle v\u00e6re hans vidner - hans bevis (ApG 1,8). Med Hellig\u00e5ndens DUNAMIS-kraft vil vores liv ogs\u00e5 \u00e6ndre sig, og vi vil v\u00e6re beviser p\u00e5 hans k\u00e6rlighed og bringe hans lys til verden. Hans DUMANIS-kraft vil beskytte os.\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0Om eftermiddagen tog mange teenagere ud i byen og bragte Hans lys til Offenburgs indbyggere - ved at spille fodbold, st\u00e5 ved b\u00f8nnetribuner eller tale med forbipasserende. Teenagerne kom tilbage med skinnende \u00f8jne og fulde af begejstring over det, de havde oplevet. \u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0I Throne Room blev vi mindet om, at vi som kristne skal v\u00e6lge Gud HVER dag. S\u00e5 startede vi en lovsangsstund, hvor vi ogs\u00e5 brugte de sm\u00e5 fakler, som alle fik ved indgangen, og viftede med dem for at prise Gud. Da vi sang sangen \"Battle belongs\", gik vi alle ned p\u00e5 kn\u00e6 og sang: \"S\u00e5 n\u00e5r jeg k\u00e6mper, k\u00e6mper jeg p\u00e5 mine kn\u00e6 med mine h\u00e6nder h\u00f8jt l\u00f8ftet. \u00c5h, Gud, kampen tilh\u00f8rer dig.\" Senere faldt vi p\u00e5 kn\u00e6 igen - denne gang for at bekende vores synder over for Gud - og sang \"Kristus og Kristus korsf\u00e6stet\". Sikke en aften!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Previous Next Day 5: Purpose\u00a0 \u00a0What would TeenStreet be without the Service team? 652 people are working behind the scenes this year and making TeenStreet possible – in the kitchen, cleaning toilets, as security, at a fun food stand and so on. This morning we thanked them out loud! Service team, we love you!\u00a0 \u00a0Just like the Olympic flame, it is also important for us as Christians to pass on the torch and bring the light of Jesus into the world. Because there are still a good 3 billion people who have little or no opportunity to hear about Jesus. \u00a0 \u00a0We know from Paul that he did not rest even at the end of his ministry, but continued to preach the gospel until the next generation took up the torch. Just before Jesus went back to his heavenly Father, he told his disciples that they would be his witnesses – his evidence, proof (Acts 1:8). With the DUNAMIS power of the Holy Spirit, our lives will also change and we will be evidence, proof of his love and bring his light into the world. His DUMANIS power will protect us.\u00a0 \u00a0In the afternoon, many teens went out into the city and brought His light to the people of Offenburg – playing football, at prayer stands or by talking to passers-by. The teens came back with shining eyes and full of enthusiasm about what they had experienced. \u00a0 \u00a0At Throne Room we were reminded that as Christians we have to choose God EVERY day. Then we started a time of worship, where we also used the little torches that everyone received at the entrance waving them around praising God. When we sang the song “Battle belongs”, we all got down on our knees and sung: “So when I fight, I fight on my knees with my hands lifted high. Oh, God, the battle belongs to you.” Later, we got down on our knees again – this time to confess our sins to God – and sang “Christ and Christ crucified”.
