Tag 3 bei TeenStreet! Boys and Girls Day! RAG-Rennen! Was f\u00fcr ein Tag!  <\/p>\n

Heute Morgen trafen sich die Jungen zuerst in der Haupthalle, w\u00e4hrend die M\u00e4dchen ihre Kleingruppenzeit hatten. Die Jungen schauten sich Timotheus, Silas und Philippus in der Apostelgeschichte an und kamen auf drei Dinge: Konzentration auf Jesus, keine Abk\u00fcrzungen und dass wir uns gegenseitig brauchen.  <\/p>\n

Dann waren die M\u00e4dchen in der Haupthalle (und die Jungen in der Kleingruppe). Sie betrachteten drei Frauen aus der Apostelgeschichte: Lydia, Maria (die Mutter von Jesus) und Tabitha. Anhand dieser Frauen und der Zeugnisse der drei Sprecherinnen lernten die M\u00e4dchen, wie wichtig die Gemeinschaft untereinander - die Schwesternschaft - ist, dass DUNAMIS mit ihnen ist und dass bei Gott nichts unm\u00f6glich ist. <\/p>\n

Der Nachmittag war bunt und laut - RAG-Rennen! Kurz nach 15 Uhr ert\u00f6nte der Startschuss und Hunderte von L\u00e4ufern - Jugendliche und Erwachsene - machten sich auf den Weg. Bei sch\u00f6nstem Sommerwetter absolvierten sie Runde um Runde und wurden von der restlichen TeenStreet-Gemeinschaft lautstark angefeuert und mit Wasser versorgt. Da nicht nur der L\u00e4ufer mit den meisten Runden oder den meisten Spenden einen Preis gewinnt, sondern auch das beste Kost\u00fcm, konnte man Wikinger, Raupen, Astronauten, Aliens, einen Anzugtr\u00e4ger und viele andere kreative Outfits sehen. Wir werden morgen erfahren, wie viel Geld gesammelt wurde und wer einen Preis gewonnen hat. <\/p>\n

 Nach einem weiteren guten Thronraum gab es auch viel Zeit f\u00fcr Gemeinschaft, spontane Anbetungszeiten, gutes Essen, Sport und einen exklusiven Einblick in den neuen Jesus-Film.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Previous Next Day 3 at TeenStreet! Boys and Girls day! RAG race! What a day!   This morning, the boys met first in the main hall while the girls had their small group time. The boys looked at Timothy, Silas and Philip in the book of Acts and came up with three things: focus on Jesus, no shortcuts and that we need each other.   Then the girls were in the main hall (and the boys did small group). They looked at three women in the book of Acts: Lydia, Mary (the mother of Jesus) and Tabitha. Based on these women and the testimonies of the three speakers, the girls learnt how important community with one another – sisterhood – is, that DUNAMIS is with them and that nothing is impossible with God.  The afternoon was colourful and loud – RAG race! Shortly after 3pm, the starting gun sounded and hundreds of runners – teenagers and adults – set off. They completed lap after lap in beautiful summer weather and were loudly cheered on and supplied with water by the rest of the TeenStreet community. As not only the runner with the most laps or the most donations wins a prize, but also the best costume, you could see Vikings, caterpillars, astronauts, aliens, a suit wearer and many other creative outfits.
